Looking to meet like-minded women that share your passion for food and fitness? Brunch n Grind went to The Social Pantry with Be:Fit London Supper Club to do just that!
Event: Be:Fit London Supper Club
Restaurant: The Social Pantry
Location: Battersea, SW11 5TG
Blowout or budget: £35 for a three course meal, a glass of bubbly and a goodie bag
The fundamentals:
As you know both Vanessa and I love to keep fit and healthy but we equally enjoy a very active social life. So when the opportunity came up for us to attend an exclusive event at The Social Pantry (one of our bucket list brunch spots) to enjoy an evening of good food, bubbly and beauty products we jumped at the chance to sign up.
The low-down:
On arrival we were greeted with a cool glass of Prosecco and a warm welcome from Be:Fit founder Leigh Fergus. As other guests started to arrive we got the chance to mingle, sample a selection of delicious Social Pantry canapés and try some lovely goodies from natural beauty brand YES TO.
It was interesting to hear what motivates Leigh and discover how Be:Fit has become such an inspiring brand. With research showing that only one in five UK women are doing enough exercise to keep fit, happy and healthy, Leigh set out on a mission to change perceptions of fitness and raise women’s confidence in the health and wellbeing arena (without all the fads). From festivals and supper clubs to studio takeovers and run clubs, Leigh really is changing the face of fitness across London!
Thanks to YES TO, the theme of the night was coconuts (one of my favourite foods). With an Instagram worthy dining table and a mouth-watering sharing menu, I couldn’t wait to sit down and enjoy a guilt-free nutritious meal.

From warm baby beetroot tart tatin to pan seared salmon (in coconut oil) with pancetta and peas, we were treated to a feast of flavours. By the time our rosewater marshmallows and coconut energy balls arrived it became apparent that the Be:Fit Supper Club is the perfect get together for anyone looking to indulge their passion for good food, beauty products and health.

The verdict:
This is a fun evening for anyone who enjoys meeting new people and wants to be part of a contemporary fitness community in London. Leaving with a list of new fitness classes to try and beauty products to buy, this was definitely an evening well spent.
Be sure to follow Be:Fit on Instagram and Twitter for details on upcoming events, studio takeovers and of course the next Supper Club.
Tickets for Be:Fit London 2017 are now also on sale. With exclusive gym classes, cookery sessions and inspiring workshops included, it’s a great day out.
