Where: Elmore, the Cotswolds

The low down
Soul Circus promises to be an energising and uplifting weekend set in the beautiful rolling hills of the Cotswolds. The brainchild of husband and wife team Ella and Roman Wroath, the event was created to offer a celebration of yoga and wellness, together with great music, delectable food and relaxing spa experiences – all delivered with sustainability at its core.
The perfect escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life, Soul Circus gives you the rare opportunity to work on your own practice; allows you headspace for that all-important soul searching; and the ability to switch off and slow down.
Now in it’s second year, Soul Circus is going to be even bigger and better than last time! This year sees the addition of Psycle London‘s spin, pilates, HIIT and dynamic dance workshops – so all you sweat seekers can still get your cardio kicks in between sunrise, savasanas and sunset!
There’s a packed roster of challenging yoga classes and inspirational teachers to inspire, guide and lend life wisdom. From sunrise yoga and energising Rocket to aerial and pole yoga, this is the place to experiment, feel free and find a style of yoga to fall in love with.
Our favourite yoga babe Kelly Brooks is going to be teaching on Friday evening, so make sure you get down and pitch you tent in time to bend and flow to the beat!
Fuelling the body and soul
With The Holistic Chef Jamie Rafferty at the helm, all of the food served at Soul Circus will be fresh, locally-sourced and produced, and filled with plenty of juicy goodness. Aside from the main festival café, there’s the Pantry, Solar Kitchen Café, Market Place, Dining Room and Counter Bar, so whether detoxing or retoxing – you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Wash it all down with some fresh juice or locally produced cider, gin, organic bio-dynamic wine or a playful glass of Moët & Chandon from the Champagne bar.
Don’t miss out on the Supper Clubs and if you’re a fan of the high-life, take advantage of the VIP Retreat, complete with dine-on-demand and its own concierge service!
Beats and bass
Of course, no festival is complete without a line-up of amazing music. Designed to work in synergy with the festival goers’ mood throughout the course of the day and into the evening, Soul Circus has curated a line-up of buskers, bands and DJs who will form the soundtrack to the weekend.
By day, expect soothing acoustics, beautiful gongs and uplifting Kirtan to create a sense of peace and harmony. At night, Backbeat Soundsytem, Ben Grooves and the one and only Maxi Jazz of Faithless will be sure to get the party started and lead the woodland after-party antics until the early hours.
Those with relaxation in mind will want to visit the luxurious lakeside Bamford Haybarn Spa. A choice of massage, alternative therapies, hot tubs and sauna will be on offer for yogis to unwind and relax those muscles after a day of intense activity.
There will also be a series of workshops and talks from authoritative speakers including one of the most successful love coaches in the UK, Persia Lawson.
Singer Will Young, who has recently become a mindfulness coach, brings his calming energy to the festival and there will be a dedicated space for male health and wellness – with a particular focus on mental health hosted by Warrior Wear.
Co-writers of ground-breaking new book Odd Man Out: Breaking The Vow of Male Silence, Nige and Elloa Atkinson will also be sharing their experiences of the power and healing of sharing your fears.
