Bored of your usual yoga class? We’ve found three amazing yogic experiences in September which fuse fashion, food, music and dance, so you can celebrate National Yoga Month with a difference
2049 – House of VOGA X Sweat and Sound
Thursday 13 September
Time: 6-9pm / Afterparty 9pm+
Ticket price: £32
If you haven’t already heard about VOGA allow us to give you some detail… it’s a fusion of yoga and voguing – a underground dance movement from Eighties New York. Set to a retro beat and designed to make you feel like a queen, think Madonna and get ready to strike a pose.
Want in? Well look no further, VOGA is right here in London and it’s celebrating London Fashion Week with immersive events company Sweat and Sound. Mixed with the theme of Blade Runner 2049, these guys are fusing old and new to bring you an experience like no other in a secret location near Covent Garden.
What to expect…
This event is a hybrid of fitness and fashion so you’ll learn to pose like the professionals with a sassy House of VOGA class before watching a catwalk of the hottest new activewear lines to hit the high street.
There’s also the opportunity to shop a special vintage sale before sitting down (with cocktail or smoothie in hand) and listening in on a panel discussion about the future of fashion.
Once all the fun’s over you can then practice your new found moves at the afterparty. Jeeeeeeez these guys know how to put on an event!
Lie Down and Listen – Pianist Christina McMaster X Yogi Will Wheeler
Friday 21 September
Ticket price: £25 / VIP £35
Bringing classical music and its benefits to the millennials, pianist Christina McMaster has partnered with Lululemon Ambassador and co-founder of Levels Six yoga studio, Will Wheeler, for an evening of music, meditation and restorative yoga. Pure bliss in our opinion!

Upon arrival you’ll being greeted with a smile, a low alcohol cocktail and time to unwind. You’ll then settle down with some yummy restorative yoga poses led by Will himself.
Listen to music from the 9ft Steinway Grand and later on a chamber choir will envelope you in good vibrations, you’ll literally feel the music move through you. Post performance you’ll be able to connect with others over a hot chocolate.

Rooftop yoga brunch – Balance magazine X Mind Body Bowl (aka Annie Clarke)
Saturday 29 September
Time: 9:30am – 12pm or 11am – 1:30pm
As you know we love a yoga brunch, and with added skyline views from Tintagel House in Vauxhall, we think this event is the perfect way to see out summer.
What to expect…
Rounding off National Yoga Month, the lovely Annie Clarke will guide you through an energising 45-minute flow filled with sun salutations and warrior poses in the fresh morning air. Through her practise, Annie helps reconnect everyone with their peaceful inner space and carry it off the mat into everyday life. Very much needed in London if you ask us!

Everyone who attends will also receive an exclusive Balance goody bag filled with healthy treats. BONUS!
