Listen up London! Go gather your fellow yogis this Saturday 30 September for a beautiful practice at London’s Migration Museum with Lululemon and Ourmala
They may be known for their slick sports bras and luxurious leggings, but there’s more to Lululemon than meets the eye.
Did you know?
Throughout the month of September the yoga-inspired activewear brand has been busy focussing their free Sunday morning yoga classes on generating awareness of a campaign close to their hearts, Here to Be.
The campaign is committed to partnering with admirable organisations to make the healing benefits of yoga and meditation accessible to under-served and vulnerable communities.
Lululemon has been working extremely hard to raise awareness of the work Ourmala (a socially conscious yoga charity) does here in the UK with refugees and asylum seekers recovering from atrocities; many of whom have experienced torture and sexual violence in conflict.
Making yoga a tool for social change
To celebrate this wonderful partnership Lululemon and Ourmala will hold a one-off event at London’s Migration Museum on Saturday 30 September and you’re invited!
100% of the proceeds raised will go towards supporting Ourmala and their work providing free hot meals, essential life items and therapeutic yoga classes to help soothe anxiety and depression to those affected by conflict. Your money will help implement practical and positive changes to many lives.
For just £25 you’ll be able to enjoy a yoga class with yoga guru and world-renowned teacher Gloria Latham, followed by a blissful meditation and talk with Ourmala founder Emily Brett.
Plus, you’ll also receive a goodie bag jam-packed with treats from haircare legends Bumble and Bumble and tasty bites from the likes of Deliciously Ella, Kind Snacks and Wild Fizz Kombucha.
You’ll also be able to take part in a silent auction and place your bid for the chance to win yourself a spot at some of London’s hottest fitness studios and restaurants! Prizes up for grabs include packages at Xtend Barre, Yoga Haven and Digme.
